Indie Brand ... Miss Sunshine

I was lucky enough to be given a press pass for the Clothes Show Live this year and discovered some really cool independent brands; one of which being Miss Sunshine. I actually bought two shirts from them, the other I'm sure you will see soon enough. I just love the painting on this, it reminded me of my favourite childhood toy! Unfortunately, you can't buy these unique shirts online at the moment but if you live in the London area, the stall is set up in Camden Lock Market. The guys are really cool too so be sure to check them out.

As you can see, I've really been embracing the casual heel since my last OOTD post. I picked up these little beauties for £12 and they are perfect for a short girl. They are flatforms so are easy to walk in, to give you some idea, I wore these all day at the Clothes Show and had no pain at all. And those who have been before will know the day brings with it a lot walking.

My Christmas Jumper

Last week of the semester, and I can't wait for Christmas. It's kind of hard to get excited about it right now, what with all the deadlines and such, there's hardly any room in my brain for anything else but coursework. This is why I've decided to show my Christmas jumper. You've seen it before, but it is my all-time favourite.

This is my wonderful Narzipan jumper, isn't it amazing? It's my favourite colour too, definitely my best purchase of 2011. I bought it at the Clothes Show last year, and I'm gutted I couldn't make it this time around. If you went I seriously hope you checked out their stall, I've seen their latest stuff and it's just as fierce, plus they're really lovely peeps ☺

Been doing a spot of cooking - it was kind of like a chilli, but it didn't have mince, or kidney beans, so it actually it wasn't like a chilli at all. I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted fine. It had sweet peppers, onion, garlic,  Quorn chicken, paprika, coriander, tomato and basil sauce and a splash of olive oil.

Okay, the rice came out a bit gloopy and sticky, and I'm really not sure why. Maybe we over boiled it? Goodness knows, but it was kind of inedible, so we just munched around it. It was quite a tasty winter meal.

Luckily, my uni work woes have been sorted this week - woohoo!

Reppin' Narzipan

Decided to post about my Narzipan sweater :) Alex and I went to the Clothes Show last December, (AKA, our heaven) and we came across this delightful little stall selling the most beautiful sweaters and jewellery our little eyes ever did see. The girls running the stall were really lovely and let us try on everything. I chose this amazing sequin bow sweater in a bright aqua colour, one of my favourite greens :3

As everyone was selling cheaper at the clothes show, I picked up this beauty for an amazingly cheap £25. It sells for £35 online which is still a great price, especially when you think about how much a hand-made and detailed jumper like this would cost in high-street shops.

It has this funky scrunchy sequined detail, with a big bow at the shoulder. I love how Narzipan's stuff has a kinda clown style look to it, it's awesome! I strongly suggest you check out their stuff, I love their jumpers especially. Everything is totally unique and handmade, probably the best sweaters I've seen so far, especially for so cheap :)

Today's look - Dolly girl

Just a quick little outfit update :) Sorry for being a bit stingy on posts, a lot's been going down at uni and life in general recently :'] I bought this unusual dress at The Clothes Show in December and this is the first time I've actually worn it shockingly, I guess I just forgot about it :3

I teamed it with a white shirt and plain black tights so as not to draw attention away from the busy pattern on the dress. I particularly like how the shirt sleeves are visible through the cut-out sleeves in the dress. I think the shirt makes it look very smart but the boots keep it looking cool ;D This also works really well with my white creepers, but I have been wearing them so much recently. This is one of my cutesy-er outfits - I think it makes me look like a little dolly :']

It's getting increasingly more difficult to take pictures in my mirror, and as my camera is still at Jack's house somewhere I've had to use my awful phone which has no back, so sorry for that xD I'm still wearing the wristband from last night at Jack's gig and it didn't even come off in the shower, how shameful :'] If I can get a picture from my friend Alex, I will do a post about my latest groupie outfit :) By the way, I don't sleep on a campbed, that was for Alex who stayed last night after the gig :'] (Y) Check her blog here
