Gold Accents

Jumper - Boohoo ♦ Jeans - Topshop ♦ Boots - New Look ♦ Frilly Socks - Topshop ♦ Bag - New Look ♦ Earrings - New Look  ♦ Necklace - c/o Narzipan ♦ Glasses - Replay

I've always been a silver jewellery kind of girl but recently I've been getting into gold. I'd chosen a small drawstring handbag a while back adorned with gold buttons and a chain and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite do the job for the amount of crap I like to lug about with me to uni, so I've been on the lookout for something more substantial. I think the hinges on this make it look much more than £25.99!

I've not been overly impressed with the January sales this year, however these pretty earrings were £5.99, marked down to £3. I find it difficult to say no to a bargain so snapped them up. They are pretty dressy but can also be used to make a casual outfit look chic. I think they look best when my hair's twirled up in a bun.

The lovely Sunita over at Narzipan gave me this awesome necklace at the Clothes Show this year. It's completely unique as she designs and casts them. I just love the shape of it, it's totally cool and different! It's definitely my current favourite necklace.

How do you like my new specs? I actually have terrible eyesight and my optician advised I ought to alternate my glasses and contact lenses as it's not healthy to wear them everyday. I've always felt uncomfortable in glasses but I am loving these and have found myself wearing them all the time!

Hope you like my look!

My Christmas Jumper

Last week of the semester, and I can't wait for Christmas. It's kind of hard to get excited about it right now, what with all the deadlines and such, there's hardly any room in my brain for anything else but coursework. This is why I've decided to show my Christmas jumper. You've seen it before, but it is my all-time favourite.
My friends say I look like a shiny wrapped up present

This is my wonderful Narzipan jumper, isn't it amazing? It's my favourite colour too, definitely my best purchase of 2011. I bought it at the Clothes Show last year, and I'm gutted I couldn't make it this time around. If you went I seriously hope you checked out their stall, I've seen their latest stuff and it's just as fierce, plus they're really lovely peeps

Jacket - Peacocks, Jumper - Narzipan, Leggings - Primark, Boots - Hypnotic

Bit blurry, but you can see the beautiful detail better
Been doing a spot of cooking - it was kind of like a chilli, but it didn't have mince, or kidney beans, so it actually it wasn't like a chilli at all. I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted fine. It had sweet peppers, onion, garlic,  Quorn chicken, paprika, coriander, tomato and basil sauce and a splash of olive oil.

Domestic goddess fer sure

Okay, the rice came out a bit gloopy and sticky, and I'm really not sure why. Maybe we over boiled it? Goodness knows, but it was kind of inedible, so we just munched around it. It was quite a tasty winter meal.

Luckily, my uni work woes have been sorted this week - woohoo!
Hope you're all surviving uni/work/school, remember, it's Christmas soon! ..

Oh, by the way, Narzipan's new line will be their website soon, you must check that here

Reppin' Narzipan

Decided to post about my Narzipan sweater :) Alex and I went to the Clothes Show last December, (AKA, our heaven) and we came across this delightful little stall selling the most beautiful sweaters and jewellery our little eyes ever did see. The girls running the stall were really lovely and let us try on everything. I chose this amazing sequin bow sweater in a bright aqua colour, one of my favourite greens :3

As everyone was selling cheaper at the clothes show, I picked up this beauty for an amazingly cheap £25. It sells for £35 online which is still a great price, especially when you think about how much a hand-made and detailed jumper like this would cost in high-street shops.

It has this funky scrunchy sequined detail, with a big bow at the shoulder. I love how Narzipan's stuff has a kinda clown style look to it, it's awesome! I strongly suggest you check out their stuff, I love their jumpers especially. Everything is totally unique and handmade, probably the best sweaters I've seen so far, especially for so cheap :)

Check out the online store

They've also got a blog, too

Sweater - Narzipan, obvs.
Leggings - Primark.
