Denim Appreciation

Yo
I don't look very happy in these pictures, perhaps it's because I'm still getting over my cold. It's pretty much on it's way out, just left with a pesky tickly cough I'm yet to shift. I noticed I haven't done an OOTD post in a while, so here we go

I look a bit stoned  - I wasn't.

I'm hoping my roots are long enough that they kind of look like I've got a two-tone ombre sort of effect going on, whether it does or not is a different story. As you know, I'm trying to grow my reddy brown out, so if it looks like I've done it on purpose that's a huge bonus. I've never been one to care about roots to be quite honest, even when I was a blonde I wasn't overly fussed.

I cannot tell you how much I love my two denim jackets; they are just perfect. Not really for the weather, mind, it's getting so cold and my wardrobe isn't really serving me well to be honest.
I think I shall have to hibernate...

Bowling & Burgers

I've been bowling today with my boyfriend and his family. And no, I didn't win. In fact, I lost both the games we played and any pins I hit were definitely all flukes. Even so, it was very fun
The one thing that bugs me about bowling though is the shoes. Okay, everyone hates them - knowing how many people have stuffed their sweaty feet in them and the fact your foot always feels mildly moist when you take them off is bad enough. But on top of that, I have tiddly baby feet, and am always the only adult with the children's velcro shoes.
Embarrassing? Just a tad.

Afterwards we had lunch in Frankie and Benny's, which was lovely as my skills in the alley (paha) had worked up an appetite. I munched my way through a whole Mediterranean Veggie burger with fries on the side. Kinda felt I should have had salad on the side as I am trying to be healthier... but let's be honest. Between fries and salad, it's a no-brainer.

I was feeling a bit boring and causal today so dressed down with my H! by Henry Holland giraffe print leggings - which I love but always seem to forget about - and a white shirt over what was one of my holiday crop tops. I really couldn't be bothered to do anything with my hair as I didn't sleep great and was shattered in the morning so I just let it hang loose.

Let's get a close-up on those giraffes

I am fully aware my roots are quite horrifically obvious in these pictures but I'm afraid they're about to get worse. I'm trying to grow my hair out as much as I can as I want it back to my natural brown. They don't really bother me too much, but I just hope they didn't offend your eyes :')

I think I get my first pay tomorrow, so expect me to be splurging! Especially since I now have 15% off at Motel Rocks, and so do all you guys! Just use the code from the banner over there

Dressin' up

Jacket just casually thrown on the floor :')

I had planned to take these pictures outside, but unfortunately, it started pouring it down when I finished work, and didn't stop. England, eh. So sorry about that, but hopefully these pictures look alright (: I like taking something smart and wearing it casually, and vise versa. Everyone likes dressing up, so why not do it everyday? :3

I love this colour, it's one of my favourites :3 I picked this little lovely in the online River Island sale for an amazing £7, down from £45! Gotta love a brilliant bargain. Jack and I went to Star City to go watch Ted at the Vue Cinema. It was soooo hilarious, and it made me slightly tearful :') I'd recommend it, fer sure.

I've still got to sort out my uni stuff, like enrolling and whatnot for my second year, but I keep getting distracted by other things. I'll get round to it eventually ;)
Hope you like my latest pretty dress :3

Today's look - Who wears short shorts ;)

I don't have to go in today because the lesson isn't on (woop woop) so I've treated myself to a Simple Kind to Skin face mask and a laaazy day 8)
I feel like I should be going on a picnic in the park in this outfit, I feel so summery :3 This top, much to my dismay, got washed with a navy duvet and is now adorned with blue splodges.
I think it works, although I was pretty distraught for quite some time :']
The I'm Laddered tights finally make an appearance :) They have yet to ladder yet, but I'm being extra specially careful. Instead of creepers, I thought about opting for my latest shoe splurge; these gorgeous zebra loafers. While they are lovely, they absolutely butcher the back of my ankles, so I can't wear them without at least two plasters :/ I think I'm going to find something to cushion them with, so they won't kill me off :']

Today's Look - You're 'avin' a giraffe

How cute are these Henry Holland leggings? :3 I bought them ermm.. it must have been about two Summers ago but they still have a firm place in my wardrobe. Unfortunately, I have to wear tights underneath them as they show my pants, I constantly have this problem on account of my 'little big bum', as Jack would say :']
I'm not sure why i'm wearing my vest underneath this, but hey ho, I think it works xD
Creepers make an appearance again, with spotty pink socks :3

I actually have a bit of sad news, after working there for nearly three years, the Cannock Claire's Accessories has shut :( It's feels really weird ... but I'll miss my work colleagues lots and lots and wish them luck in the future :)

Also, I've pushed my fringe to the side. Again. I can't help myself :']

Henry Holland Tights

Little bit blurry, I've had to use my phone as I left my camera at Jack's

Just a quick post to show you guys my latest impulse buy, I know I know, I have a serious addiction to shopping and it needs to be curbed :']
As I mentioned in a past post, 2NE1 CL's sexy holiday look, my super suspender Henry Holland's sadly were torn beyond any sort of repair at a pretty wild uni halls party in January, so I thought it was about time I replaced them. Unfortunately, I could not resist these amazing 'I'm laddered' seamed tights and had to get them too. I've had my eye on them for quite some time but could never justify the purchase so this seemed the perfect excuse.
Jack has another gig this weekend so I may include a pair of my new tights in my outfit - I'm thinking creepers ... however, I may not :3 Muahaha stay tuned ;D

Do you guys own the same as me or any other Henry Holland tights?

2NE1 CL's sexy holiday look

CL in her sexy suspender tights

Even on a break, 2NE1 always come up top when it comes to style. If you don't know who 2NE1 are, they're an amazing Kpop group who take Korean fashion to a whole other level. You need to check them out now!
While on their holiday in the Philippines, Dara uploaded a picture of CL to her me2day looking effortless sexy. I just love her suspender tights; I had a pair of Henry Holland's suspenders myself but unfortunately they got a little bit destroyed at a recent uni party :'] Teamed with a graphic black tee, tiny denim hot-pants and simple black buckled heels, CL really lets her tights do the talking here. This outfit just sums her up; sassy, fearless and fun.
I'm just waiting for 2NE1's English album with none other than will.i.am, we've been waiting quite some time which can only mean it's going to be amazing! While you wait along with the rest of the fans, check out one of their most awesome songs here - not the latest one, but definitely pumpin' ;D
