I want to ride my bicycle ... but not in this skirt.

I'm one of those people Facebook moans about - at the first sight of sun, I'm not ashamed to say I dig out my Summer wardrobe. In my defense, it has been pretty warm round my ends, so I felt the need to show the world my pale little legs. I probably should have taken the pictures outside in the natural light but as you know, I leave taking my OOTD photos last minute. I'm such a bad blogger, but my boyfriend has a beard, does that make up for it? I read in Company magazine that you can't call yourself a blogger unless your man is your photographer and has an impressive furry face. One point to Alice, right?

Heart necklace - a gift ♦ Gemstone & initial necklace - By Francis Frank

I had a bit of an embarrassing moment today. I'm on the lookout for a new bike for mountain biking so I travelled up to Halfords to take a look. The guy at the store was really helpful, however it got a bit awkward when I had to sit on the seat of two bikes to gage my frame size - in this skirt. I was extremely careful so hopefully he didn't get an eyeful of something he shouldn't but only he knows for sure... I really don't dress practically at all.

I'm wearing my Valentines necklace! I love how it layers up with my everyday heart necklace, it's hard to find jewellery that doesn't fit over the top of it so this is perfect. Check out By Francis Frank, their gemstone accessories are so unique!

Bows & Wickets

Jumper - New Look  Leggings - Primark  Shoes - New Look  Bow - market stall ♦ Earrings - Claires

Sorry about the boring background, it was a spur of the moment kind of 'photo shoot'. I haven't worn this jumper in literally years; I pulled it out from the bottom of my drawer and felt like throwing it on. Most unlike these shoes which I've been wearing religiously since I received them at Christmas, just like my big green bow. I got at least four bows for Christmas and this is the largest of the lot, from my Mom and Dad in my stocking. I love wearing it with a plainer outfit to make an impact.

What do you think?

A little bit of retail therapy...

University is starting to take it's toll on my feeble body and mind. To keep me sane, I've been indulging in a spot of retail therapy. It's not really a haul, I don't have the money for those, but it's a small collection of pretty things I could not resist. Check it.

I had a cheeky little potter round Primark when I should have been in the uni library. White is my favourite colour to wear (next to black) because it's so pretty and versatile. I am also a sucker for crops, I have this thing about midriff, you see. I felt it was time to get myself a new hairband and how amazing is this one? I love the mix of sweet and punky, totally my style. Can't wait to wear this.

I'm addicted to Revlon' s lip butters, so I was excited when I saw Boots had a 3 for two offer. I picked up Strawberry Shortcake, Sweet Tart and Tutti Fruity. How cute are the names? These shades are a light rosey pink, a poppier bright pink and orange-hued reddy colour.

I'm really annoyed that I've had to neglect my blog recently, all my uni deadlines are coming up at once and I'm working flat out. But I just completed a particularly scary project, so things are looking up!
Because of uni, my social life has gone kaput so I'm really looking forward to a night out next Saturday. Hopefully I have a nice lil' outfit post for you guys. I'll be blogging a lot more when this semester is done!

So, what do you think of my purchases?
