CRINGE

Recently, I've been dressing rather smartly so this fun little outfit was a nice change. As you can see, I've accessorised my new top with pet hair. With a house full of fur babies, it's pretty much impossible to keep unwanted fluff off your person. However, I hope it isn't too distracting as I really love this new crop from The Ragged Priest I spied in the ASOS sale - I think it suits me to a tee (pardon the pun). I'm quite an awkward person by nature and often find myself cringing.

I could not resist these silver mules either - I just knew they'd go with so many things and add a up-to-date chic look to any outfit - and they do! I will admit that having worn them for the first time today and walked a little dog that decided to pull me down the straight after the leaves, they do cut into your feet a tad. I'm hoping that as they are worn more they will begin to loosen up, but I thought I'd offer a warning just in case any of you thought about picking a pair up for yourself.

Hope you have a great week!

Casual Friday

Hairband - Primark ♦ Arrow & Spikes necklace - Boohoo ♦ Ring -  a gift ♦ Heart necklace - a gift ♦ Glasses -  Replay
Cardie - Layers ♦ Crop - Primark ♦ Joggers - River Island ♦ Boots - Hypnotic

Everyone has those days where they just want to stick on a pair of tracky bottoms and get comfy. I often experience this so I decided to find a way to make my faithful joggers look somewhat stylish, and although they make my booty look absolutely huge in a most unflattering way, I do love them.

I'm just realising just how many hair bobbles I have on my wrist; I'm sure you've seen OOTD's of mine where I have bobby pins attached to the bottom of my t-shirts too. I can't be the only girl who does this? With such long unruly hair, it would be unwise for me to go outside with several hundred emergency hair accessories. However, as I mentioned in my last post, they can be potentially dangerous when mountain biking.

We brought our Cavalier King Charles spaniel puppy home last Friday and he has settled in perfectly, say hello to Alfie on my Instagram!

I want to ride my bicycle ... but not in this skirt.

I'm one of those people Facebook moans about - at the first sight of sun, I'm not ashamed to say I dig out my Summer wardrobe. In my defense, it has been pretty warm round my ends, so I felt the need to show the world my pale little legs. I probably should have taken the pictures outside in the natural light but as you know, I leave taking my OOTD photos last minute. I'm such a bad blogger, but my boyfriend has a beard, does that make up for it? I read in Company magazine that you can't call yourself a blogger unless your man is your photographer and has an impressive furry face. One point to Alice, right?

Heart necklace - a gift ♦ Gemstone & initial necklace - By Francis Frank

I had a bit of an embarrassing moment today. I'm on the lookout for a new bike for mountain biking so I travelled up to Halfords to take a look. The guy at the store was really helpful, however it got a bit awkward when I had to sit on the seat of two bikes to gage my frame size - in this skirt. I was extremely careful so hopefully he didn't get an eyeful of something he shouldn't but only he knows for sure... I really don't dress practically at all.

I'm wearing my Valentines necklace! I love how it layers up with my everyday heart necklace, it's hard to find jewellery that doesn't fit over the top of it so this is perfect. Check out By Francis Frank, their gemstone accessories are so unique!

So.. this is Spring?

If you recognise this outfit, it's because it's from the same day I took the picture for my lip butter review. As you can see in these pics, the horrible snow returned, but thank goodness it has now melted and the sun seems to be putting in an appearance. It's still by no means warm, but it's a start to Spring I guess.

University, eh. Who'd in their right mind would go? Even when I'm supposed to be chilling on my Easter holiday, I'm constantly thinking about it! I'll be honest, this holiday hasn't really been the best, for many different reasons. Here's hoping for better times from now own.

However one very lovely thing during the break was that I visited my friend Jordan in London for a few days and had a blast. We went to art galleries and did a spot of shopping, in addition to some rather experimental cooking. Back to the reality of the Midlands now, boo.

Hope you've had a great Easter

Today's look - Spring has nearly sprung

Feelin' incredibly sunny over here ;D The weather's seriously perked up this week, here's hoping it will stay now. I pulled out this little number today, every bit the spring/summer dress. I'm not quite ready to get my legs out so I teamed with Henry Holland's for an edgy look.
As it's never certain which way the weather will turn, I wore a little spotty cardigan under my big cardie. I actually think the spot and the bow prints work well together, but I may be deluded ;) My warm woolly cardie is another gem from The Clothes Show. I love the safety pin and chain details on it and it's so casual and gives my look a slouchy, just-thrown-on look. I like that. (Y)
You may have noticed my AMAH-ZHING watch - Jeremy Scott for Swatch, if you please ;D I love Jeremy Scott so much and was literally over the moon to receive this lightening bolt beauty from my wonderful boyfriend on my 18th birthday last May. I've worn it practically everyday since.

I was a very lucky girl last year, as you may recall in my post I'm with the band, I got Irregular Choice heels from my lovely lovely best friend Alex :3 I have some pretty amazing people in my life ♥
